FRANK AUGUSTIN

Frank B. Augustin, 84, who lived at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Peter E. Schleis of 104 Riverview Dr. Manitowoc, since 1955, died Friday afternoon at General Hospital, Madison. He had been a patient there two weeks.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. A grandson the Rev. Juistin Schleis, will be celebrant with the Rev. Clement P. Kern as deacon and the Rev. Richard Heymen, sub-deacon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

He was born August 20, 1877 in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Peter and Anna Augustin. He married Mary Stueck Dec. 30, 1901, at Francis Creek. The couple lived at Antigo many years and moved back to Manitowoc in 1924. His wife preceded him in death July 14, 1943. He was a retired tavern owner and operator.

Among survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Ahl, Mrs. Peter E. Schleis, Mrs. Edward Krupski and Mrs. Edward Schleis all of Manitowoc; four sons, Frank Jr. of St. Nazianz, Clarence of Manitowoc, Eugene of Milwaukee and Raymond of Loveland, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Anna Seidl of Manitowoc and Mrs. Frances Hubacher of Toledo, O.; 61 grandchildren and 73 great grandchildren.
A son and a daughter preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
