MAX AUMANN REACHES END LIFE'S JOURNEY
Maximillan Aumann, pioneer balcksmith of the city and for more than sixty years engaged in that business, reached the end of life's journey Sunday night, when he passed away at his home, 1320 Marshall street, at advanced age of 77. Mr.
Aumann had been failing for several months, death being due to infirmities of age. Funeral services will be held from St. Boniface church Wednesday morning.

The death of Mr. Aumann occurred on the eve of the fifty-third anniversary of his marriage to Mary Kodet, the event having taken place on May 25, the couple celebrating their golden wedding three years ago. Besides the widow, who is in feeble health as result of injuries she suffered in a fall some months ago, a fractured hip and arm,

Mr. Aumann is survived by one daughter, Miss Mayme. A son, Max, died seven years ago.

Mr. Aumann was born in Bavaria, June 17, 1848, and at the age of 6 came here with his parents and had always made his home here. He was the first smity in the shops of the Lake Shore & Western when the road was built here and he
continued the business as a blacksmith except for a few years in later life when he was employed at the Scating Works, retiring two years ago because of age. He was well and favorably known and enjoyed the respect of the community.
Mr. Aumann was the last member of his family to survive.
