CLARA D. BAUER (d. 1952)

Double funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, for two sisters who died this week.
They are Mrs. Hans Bauer, 75, of 1110 S. Lake St., Manitowoc, who died Wednesday morning at her home, and Mrs. David F. Dwyer, 62, of 901 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, who died Monday in Kansas City.

The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate at the funeral mass, and the burials will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, and the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Bauer, who died after a lingering illness, was born Clara Stockinger in Manitowoc in 1877. She was married to Hans Bauer in 1896 and he died in 1937.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Carl Tauschek of Manitowoc; two sons, Capt. Hans Bauer of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Max H. Bauer of Weiser, Idaho; two brothers, Dr. R. E. Stockinger of Milwaukee and Rudolph Stockinger of Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. George J. Pfeffer of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Bauer was a member of the St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society at St. Boniface Church.
