EDWARD BAUER

Edward N. Bauer, 75, of 2406 Western Ave., Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88 of Manitowoc.

Mr. Bauer was born March 10, 1895, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Peterand Ida Courtley Bauer. He married Ann Lax Feb. 24, 1925, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Bauer was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., until his retirement in 1961. He was a Veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88 of Manitowoc and of the St. Paul Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife, a son, a daughter, three brothers, Reinhardt and Raymond, of Manitowoc, and Victor, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc and 13 grandchildren.
Three sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by the Holy Name Society and friends.
