John H. Becker, 90, who lived with his son-in-law and daughter, died Monday
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m.
at St Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr. Schneider will
officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Becker was born Nov. 3,1878 at Manitowoc, son of the late Frank and Katherine
Remien Becker. He married Odellia Mueller Sep 8, 1909 at St. Joseph Catholic Church
Alverno, and she died Sep 23, 1963. Mr. Becker worked as a crane operator at the
C. Reiss Coal Co., Manitowoc for many years. He was a member of the Catholic
Order of Foresters and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include two sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was also preceded by a daughter and four
brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where at 7:30 p.m.
wake services will be conducted.
