FRANK J. BENDER

Frank J. Bender, 67, of 1710 Philippen St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 10 a.m. in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James J. Stamborski will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Bender was born April 5, 1910, in the Town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County, son of the late Frank J. and Elizabeth Nagle Bender. He was graduated from Brillion High School in 1929.

He married Rose Denor in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Mr. Bender was employed by Mirro Aluminum Co. for 28 years until his retirement in 1975. He was a 50 year member of Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. Mr. Bender was also a member of the Central Labor Council of Manitowoc and Manitowoc Senior Citizens. He was a member of the dartball team, the Athletic Association and lector of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Bender of Kaukauna; three sisters, Mrs. Walter (Monica) Baer of Neenah, Mr. Edward (Cecilia) Bunke of Two Rivers and Mrs. Raymond (Dorothy) Ebert of Brillion and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m.
