PETER AUGUSTIN
(1807 - 1899)
Death from old age late Sat. night of Peter Augustin at the home of his son. He was a long-time respected resident of Town Kossuth.
He was born in Germany in 1807, came to America in 1854, and settled in Town Kossuth where he has lived ever since. Sat. evening he went quietly to bed and was found dead there next morning.
He leaves two sons, his wife having predeceased him in 1890.
The funeral was held yesterday in Francis Creek.

Peter Augustin, one of our oldest and most respected residents died last Sunday at the age of 92 years.
Mr. Augustin was born in Germany in 1807 and immigrated to America in 1854, landing at Manitowoc. After his marriage in the early 50's he settled on a farm in Kossuth where he has resided ever since.
Funeral was held at Francis Creek on Wednesday last.
