result of a stroke suffered on Sun. He was born 10 Sept. 1820 in the Kingdom of
Württemberg. He leaves his widow and 3 grown children. The funeral will take
place tomorrow, Fri., at 10:30 a.m. at the local Catholic Cemetery.

He was born in Wittenberg [Scheer, Württemberg] and came to this country in 1849, after a year's residence in Milwaukee he moved to Manitowoc and had made this place his home since.
