Douglas Michael Blomberg, found Eternal Peace Thursday, January 4, 2007, at the age of 47.


Loving and cherished son of Ronald and the late LaVerne.

Kind and loving brother of Chris (Robert) Murphy, Steve (Jeanne), Barb (Robert) Marshall and the late David.

Generous uncle of Jennifer (Ryan), Susan (Erik), David, Erika, Andrea, Alyssa and Becca.

Generous godfather and uncle to Sam and Katey (Bryce).

Further survived by other relatives and friends.


He graduated from Brookfield Centeral in 1977 where was on the Cross Country and Basketball teams. In 1983 Doug graduated from Universtiy of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Marketing Degree.

Doug had a heart of gold and strong faith in God. He was enthusiastic, loyal, energetic, positive thinking, generous and always had an opinion. He never missed the opportunity to call just to see how you were doing.

Even though Doug lived in Florida for almost 20 years he was still devoted to all the Wisconsin sports teams.


Visitation Wednesday, January 10 at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, from 4-6:45PM. Funeral Service 7PM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
