Sylvester Bonk, 73, of 1233 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Monday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Bonk was born at Northeim Dec. 31?, 1885, son of the late Simon and Mary Tomchek Bonk. He came to Manitowoc as a young man. Mr. Bonk, who never married, was employed 46 years until retirement in 1954 as a stock clerk by Plumb and Nelson Co. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Surviving are a brother, Frank J., of Manitowoc and two sisters, Mrs. Eleanore C. Bonk, of Manitowoc and Miss Lillian Bonk of Milwaukee.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
