MARTIN A. BONK
Martin A. Bonk, 70, lifelong resident of Manitowoc, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Thursday morning at his home, 1934 S. 24th St.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Leschke Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born Oct. 5, 1883, he learned the carpenter trade as a youth. For the past 10 years he was employed by the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company. He married Josephine Norkosky May 18, 1908?, who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Victor Tadych of Manitowoc and Mrs. Bernard Pow___ of Plymouth; five sons, Chester, Adolph, Frank, George and Emil of Manitowoc and 23 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. ________________________.
