Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2000, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M., with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
She was born November 4, 1912, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Wencel and Mary Nitka Ziarnik. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln HighSchool, class of 1930. Tillie was employed as a secretary for Holmes Oil
Co. retiring in 1992 at the age of 80. Tillie was also the manager of Garfield Gardens from 1979 to present. She volunteered for many organizations which include the following, Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Care Call,
Manitowoc Visitor’s Information Center, Manitowoc-Two Rivers Chamber ofCommerce, the Capitol Civic Center and also volunteered as a greeter for the Badger Car Ferry.
Survivors include a son; a sister-in-law; a nephew; two nieces, along with other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. She was preceded indeath by three brothers, Walter, Michael and Chester Ziarnik, and a daughter-
in-law, Gail Armbruster.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. Saturday, until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
