WIDOW DIES AT HER RESIDENCE
Mrs. Monica Aschenbrenner Was 74 Years Old
Mrs. Monica Aschenbrenner, 74, widow of the late Anton Aschenbrenner, died Sundaynoon at the homestead farm, on Route 2, a few miles north of this city. The deceased had been in failing health and despondent for the past several months.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the home and at 9:30 a.m. from the Holy Innocents church. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Monica Brandel,(sic) was born in Germany and spent her early life there. She was married there to Anton Aschenbrenner and they emigrated to America 50 years ago coming directly to Manitowoc. They located for a time on a farm and then came to Manitowoc where they resided for nearly 20 years, returning later to a farm north of the city. Mr. Aschenbrenner died in 1910.

Survivors are five sons, Louis, Anton, John, Peter and Herbert all of this county, two daughters, Miss Theresa and Mrs. Fred Braun, Route 3, Two Rivers, and a sister, Mrs. Peter Kaufmann, Wittenberg. There are also 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The remains were removed to the home on Route 3 this afternoon from the Pfeffer funeral home.
