6 years old Lacey was a delicate ethereal flower of a child who smiled at all she met.

At Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School, where she was a first-grade student, Lacey was described by her teachers as friendly, happy, polite, and very ladylike.

She loved nature and her teachers said she lit up a room when she entered.

Lacey was known as being a big fan of the Croton- Harmon High School varsity boys basketball team and attended many home games.

She was a loving daughter, sister of 2 older half brothers,and granddaughter. She brought so much joy to her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Lacey's grandmother Joan Dymes is interred nearby

Lacey was found unresponsive by her father, David Carr, Easter Sunday afternoon in her home on Hastings Avenue in Croton, according to Croton Police Lacey was taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow where she was pronounced dead.
Her untimely death is bewildering and tragic.
