He played collegiate football at Harvard University and set a school record for career place-kicking points. he achieved All-Ivy status in 1969. Signed as a non-drafted player by New Orleans, he totaled 44 career games. In 1976, he distinguished himself as he topped the NFL with a 78.3 field goal percentage. After retiring from football, he returned to his native Poland where he worked as a wholesaler.
