Raymond F. Kiger, 69, of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, died at 8 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 1983, in his home. He had been ill for several months.
He was born in Blacksville, W. Va., on October 31, 1913, a son of Morgan and Anna Newell Kiger.
Mr. Kiger had spent most of his life in the Mt. Morris area. He had worked for R. G. Johnson Construction Co. for 20 years and had been a stock raiser and a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Walters Kiger, whom he married July 9, 1932.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Burdell (Edna) Brock of Spraggs and Mrs. Bobby (Ethel) Brock of Mt. Morris; a son, Albert R. Kiger of Mt. Morris; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four brothers, Daws of Waynesburg, Okle of Spraggs and Herman and Larnie, both of Mt. Morris.
Four sisters and three brothers are deceased.
