There are firm records for two of his children: Thomas (b 1615 d 1691), later Archbishop of York, and John (who was baptised and buried at Langtoft, which adjoins Thwing in December 1620). Several records indicate that a third son was Josiah (b cal 1625 d 1679) later the Rector of Yelden, Bedfordshire.
There were probably earlier children, born between 1607 and 1615. They could include Robert Lamplugh of Garton on the Wolds (b c 1610). Christopher died at a young age in 1625, and his son Thomas became the ward of his brother Thomas. His wife Ann continued to live in Thwing and was buried there in 1661, and it is conceivable that the other sons also stayed there.
