Notes from Greg Bishop: Probably the Susan Dodge, age 35, working as a domestic with the family of Edward and Alice B. Moore in Kentville in 1881. Also, probably the Susan Dodge, age 28, working as one of four domestics with the families of Edward T. and Alice B. Moore in Kentville in 1891. She married Ronald McDonald, 21 May 1900 in Quincy, Mass. He died 1906/1907 in Massachusetts. The Presbyterian Witness entry states that he was "of Malden, Mass." She died 4 May 1913. Research: No stone (They were almost certainly William & Sarah (Hutchinson) MacDonald who owned nearby property as early as 1820. William b. abr. 1780 at Falmouth. Sarah b. 25 Sept 1786, Falmouth. They likely died in the 1850/60's. Sunken Lake Cemetery. By 1861, there were 7 McDonald families in Kings Co.
