Philip Warren Adams was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 1, 1930 to Cecil and Virginia Adams. He proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Alaska. He attended Oklahoma State University which led to his lifetime love of the OSU Cowboys. Philip married Gracia Mae Shannon and raised four children in Oklahoma City. He worked as an electrical engineer his entire career, but his greatest love was his family.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Adams and Virginia (Hatcher) Adams Funnell, his wife Gracia Mae (Shannon) Adams (d. 1976) and his second wife Phyllis E. (Clark) Adams (d. 2001).

Philip is survived by his 4 children: James Adams, Terrie Terrell, Kerrie Bridges and Patti Cleves; eight grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be at Baggerley, Sunday, from 12pm to 8pm.
Services honoring Philip's life will be Monday, April 20, 2015 at Rose Hill Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum, at 10:30am. Please join us in celebrating a great man's life.
