CALIFORNIA — Thomas J. (Buddy) Gallagher passed away January 21, 2000, in Los Angeles, California, after a lengthy illness. Private services were held in California on January 26,2000.

He was born in Galveston on January 28, 1934, and attended school in Galveston as well as Allen Academy in Bryan, Texas. Buddy enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1951 and served on a US Carrier during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. and Toy Rice Gallagher.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Pleshette Gallagher of Los Angeles; his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Millie Gallagher, formerly of Galveston of Kerrville, Texas. Other survivors include cousins, Gene Sutton and wife, Sally of La Marque, James Mayne and wife, Carol, of Tiki Island, and a godson, Craig Janek of Galveston.
