She was born May 1, 1903, in Springfield, the daughter of William N. and Annie R. Minder Schmidt. She married Edwin W. Krueger in 1925; he preceded her in death in 1974.
Mrs. Krueger taught at Jameson and Arnold schools, both one-room schools that later became Vachel Lindsey School, retiring in 1967. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Women's Club of Springfield, Delta Kappa Gamma, Springfield Art Association, Illinois Retired Teachers Association, Springfield Area Retired Teachers Club, Ester Circle and King's Daughters.
Survivors: a daughter, Juanita K. (husband, Hamilton I.) Jones of Springfield; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Thomas G. Radtke officiating. Burial: Farmington Cemetery.
