William P. “Bill” Brown, 77, of Longmont, CO passed away April 20, 2015. Bill was born on February 5, 1938 in Fargo, ND to Vernice C. and Myrtle (Steinweg) Brown. Bill served with the USAF from 1958-1998. Bill married Karen Smith in 1959. They moved to Longmont in 1970 where Bill was employed with the FAA ATCC from 1970-1994 and First Transit from 1996-2013.
Bill was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Moose Lodge #1548 where he was a Life Member. Bill enjoyed motorcycle riding.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marvin C. Brown.
Bill is survived by his wife, Karen, son Marvin Dean Brown (Pam), daughters, Jolene Brown, Carolyn Linden and Jodi Simmons (Shawn), 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area A 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80235.
Bill was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Moose Lodge #1548 where he was a Life Member. Bill enjoyed motorcycle riding.
