Daughter of the late Joseph LaBell and Susan "Susie" (Montpetit).

Elmira Mary (LaBell) was married to Amos Perry on February 8, 1869. They were blessed with eleven children - five sons, Henry, William, Thomas, George, and Fred I., and six daughters, Rosa, Martha, Ella, Anna A., and two others (names unknown at this time).

Her husband was a farmer and, since their marriage, they had lived in Fort Covington, Dickinson, and finally in Brushton, New York.
