Thomas William Phillips, 69, of Waynesburg, died of a heart attack at Spraggs Friday, Oct. 9, 1953, at 9:30 a.m.
He was born March 26, 1884, in Wayne Township, a son of Francis and Martha Brock Phillips and had lived most of his life in the Waynesburg and Spraggs commuities. His wife, the former Winona Dulaney, preceded him in death in 1947.
Surviving are six children, two half-brothers and three half-sisters, eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
