In 1911, he won the Award of the Musical Asociation of Vienna, for his work "Suite Levantina," with a jury that includes the composers Strauss and Saint-Saëns. He is remembered for his works "Nochebuena del Diablo," "Sinfonía Aitana," "La Bella Durmiente," "La Pájara Pinta," "Soledades," "Caperucita Roja," "Tres Romanzas sin Palabras" and "Don Quijote Velando las Armas." He died in Madrid, Spain.
