Evelyn B. (Aunt Dot) Gump, 93, of Waynesburg, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009, in her home.
She was born Friday, March 3, 1916, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Raymond R. Gump and Minnie Phillips Gump.
Miss Gump was a member of First Christian Church of Waynesburg and East Franklin Grange 1709.
She always enjoyed yard sales, crafts and animals.
Miss Gump grew up on a dairy farm, and with her family, delivered milk throughout Greene County. She later worked for the first telephone company in Waynesburg as a telephone operator for several years.
Surviving are three nieces and their husbands, and two nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Aldine McClelland; a brother, Stanley H. Gump; a nephew, Bill McClelland; and a niece, Doris Scott.
