Had daughter, Emily Jane (Mrs Cotton Howell) 1925 and daughter, Martha 1924-2011 (Mrs Alfred Browning Parker). They had 14 grandchildren.
Martha was a missionary in India, a Coconut Grove teacher, and a poet.
Martha was interred at Vista Memorial Gardens along with her husband, John C Gifford in 1991 when her grandson Derek died and was interred at Vista. Her marker was added in 1991.
