Danny LaVerne Rose, age 77, of Utica, NE, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Utica. He was born January 21, 1938 at Wray, CO to Lloyd “Hank” and Nellie (Little) Rose. Danny served in the Army and had worked at the Pork Plant in York for 31 years. He belonged to the York American Legion and an archery club. Danny enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include two sons, Rodney (Jaime) Rose, and Craig Rose; two daughters, Kathy Renquist and Debra Hamilton-Rose; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister; two brothers; son-in-law Tom; and granddaughter Erica Lulow.

Memorial services will be held at 10am Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Metz Chapel in York. Inurnment will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery.
