Airman Basic Kelani Thomas, 19, of Troy, Alabama (formerly of Brundidge), passed away suddenly on Monday, May 4, 2015, while in Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Friends and Family Visitation will be Friday, May 15, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Homegoing Services will be Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Committal Services will follow at Community Cemetery in Brundidge, AL.
"We mourn together for our fallen airman, Kelani Thomas", Col. Trent Edwards, commander of the 37th Training Wing, said in a statement. "Our focus, as it should be, is on taking care of her family as well as her friends and teammates here at Lackland."
She is remembered by her fellow Airmen, friends, and family.
