ASHEBORO - Lowell Douglas "Doug" Underwood, 75, of 1259 Tory Lane died March 14, 1993, at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pugh Funeral Home. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
A native of Randolph County, he was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Service Distributing.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Felcie Hayes Underwood; daughters, Mrs. Dianne Kimes of Franklinville, Mrs. Janelle LaPrad of Asheboro; sons, Maxton Underwood of Thomasville, Keith Underwood of Asheboro; sisters, Mrs. Mavour Poole, Mrs. Joanna Miller, both of Asheboro, Mrs. Patsy Wright of Troy; brothers, Hanford H. Underwood, Brooks O. Underwood, J.C. Underwood, all of Asheboro; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 tonight.
