John prospered and became quite wealthy.

His last name appeared to be Hubbard in Vermont records, but when they went to New York apparently right after they married, the name shows up as Hulburd. Children: Sandford, Herbert, Rodney, Luther and Mary...They remained in New York, Lucius died bef 1900 and Cordelia died between 1900 and 1910 in Lawrence NY.
