She was born April 20, 1916, in Northfield to William and Pauline (Happ) Selzer. She married J. Walter Raycraft on June 29, 1940, at St. Thomas Church in Crystal Lake.
Mrs. Raycraft was a very devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock. She had a strong love for her family and enjoyed her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a great baker and cook, and also enjoyed her many stitchery and sewing projects.
She is survived by a son, John Raycraft, of Castle Rock, Colo.; daughter, Diane (Kurt Ryckman) Raycraft of Algonquin; five grandchildren, Colleen (Greg) Geils, Steve (Liz) Ritter, Matthew (Tracy) Ritter, Courtney (Kyle) Malnati and Brandon Raycraft; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Mary (Donald) Weingart; and sister-in-law, Irene Raycraft.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1998; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Raymond Ritter; brothers and sisters, Lawrence, Norie, Richard, Francis, Edward, Eleanor Aufderheide and Loretta Anderson.
The visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave. in Woodstock until the 11 a.m. Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses may be said in her name, or contributions to Hearthstone Manor would be appreciated.
