Harley T. Six, 63, of Greensboro R.D. 1, died in his home following a long illness at 12:20 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 1978.

He was a son of the late Donley and Viola Ashcraft Six and was born November 16, 1914, at Oak Forest, W. Va.

Mr. Six, a retired construction worker, had resided in the Greensboro area for the past 25 years.

He was a member of the Mapletown United Methodist Church, and he was a trustee of the church.

Masonic affiliations included membership in Waynesburg Lodge 153, the Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, Pittsburgh Consistory, and Syria Shrine. He was a past president of the Greene County Cooperative Extension Service and the Greene County Farmers' Association, and he was a member of the Carmichaels Grange.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Gapen Six; one brother, Hagan Six, Hundred, W. Va., and five sisters, Mrs. Pauline Meighen of Pine Bank, Mrs. Joe (Mary) Toney of Monaca, Mrs. Irene Lemmon of New Freeport, Mrs. Carl (Mildred) Smith of Pine Bank, and Mrs. Betty S. Phillips of Fairmont, W. Va.

Five brothers and two sisters are deceased.
