Oregon- Funeral services for Mrs. Rose McGowan Becker, 51, former Oregon
resident who died Tuesday in a Milwaukee hospital after a week's illness, was
held at 1 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church, Milwaukee.
Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery, Milwaukee.
Mrs. Becker lived in Oregon until her marriage to Ed Becker here in 1925,
when the couple went to live in the Wauwatosa-West Allis area.
Mr. Becker died in 1940.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Raymond Brown, Wauwatosa: Mrs.
Royal Nordstrom, West Allis: Mrs. Vern Richards, Milwaukee, and Carol, at
home: five sons, Gordon and Howard, at home and William and Keith, and
Bernard, with the armed forces: her father, Michael McGowan, Oregon: a
brother, Arthur McGowan, Oregon: two sisters, Mrs. Edmund Waite,
Denver,Colo., and Mrs. Edward Sweeney, Dalton: and a grandson.
The rosary was recited at 9 tonight in the Koelsch funeral home, 7626 W.
Greenfield Ave. ,West Allis.
