Rebecca Ann Laws Durham was embraced by our Heavenly Father into the Kingdom of Heaven on May 18, 2015. She was born in Lockhart, Texas, on April 18, 1951 and preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Nelda V. Laws and her brother, John Terrell Laws.
She was a Methodist and an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi. A loving and giving person who had a heart of gold and was dedicated in her work. Helping clients plan their financial lives was her passion. She was a loyal wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who loved her and knew her. She worked with her husband for over twenty five years in Durham and Associates, and later at Mesquite Wealth Management.
Rebecca had many loyal and devoted friends whom she loved like family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her husband and friends sharing food, fun, travel and sometimes tears and sorrow. She felt strongly we all have a purpose designed for us by God. Let us live that life with joy and hope one day at a time.
A celebration of her life service will be held at the First United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Drive.
She will be laid to rest next to her Mother's grave under the Durham Head Stone.
