Robert L. Westfall, 70, of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, died at 10 p.m. Monday, June 21, 1982, in West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, following an illness of one week.
He was born January 14, 1912, in Wayne Township, a son of John and Artie Cole Westfall.
He enlisted in the Army Air Corps prior to World War II and remained in the U.S. Air Force until his retirement in 1964 after 20 years of service.
Mr. Westfall was then employed by the Bendix Corp. in Washingtn, D. C., until 1972, when he returned to Greene County after his retirement.
His wife, Mary A. Westfall, died January 24, 1981. A daughter, Virginia Lee Westfall, and a brother, Charles Edward Westfall, are also deceased.
