Mrs. Anna Bolzenthal, 90 (photo) a former Town of Kossuth resident, died Sunday morning at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, where she had resided 2-1/2 years. Funeral services will be at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bolzenthal was born Anna Rumpf Nov. 20, 1876, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Rumpf. She was married to William Bolzenthal Nov. 3, 1895, at Francis Creek. They farmed in the Town of Kossuth until 1946, then they moved to Francis Creek. She resided there until 1963, then moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Bolzenthal preceded her in death July 29, 1950. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Altar Society of the church.
Survivors include a son, Arthur, of Manitowoc, a brother, Albert, of Waukesha, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this Monday evening by members of the altar society, friends and parish.
