Rites Monday for Mrs. Lloyd Martin
Mrs. Lloyd W. Martin, 83, a former Washington resident, died May 28, 1966, in Forest Grove, Ore.
The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Patterson in charge. Burial will be in the family mausoleum in Elm Grove Cemetery.
Sylvia Caroline Dunbar was born September 29, 1882 in Washington County, a daughter of George and Julia Oliver Dunbar. She was reared here and attending Washington Academy. On Sept. 5, 1905 she was married to Lloyd W. Martin who died July 10, 1963.
They had moved from Washington to California in 1924.
Surviving are these children: Mrs. Lenore Brown of Bridgeport, Calif., Mrs. Mabel Herburger of Sonora, Calif., Homer Martin of LaCanada, Calif., Mrs. Irma Wood of Forest Grove, Ore.; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Goldie Groendyke, Mrs. Leola Huston, Mrs. George Baker, Mrs. Shiryl Augustine, Glen Dunbar and Mrs. Eleanor Rehmel, all of Washington; and Merle Dunbar if Sherman Oaks, Calif.
