Janet M. Wilson, 46, wife of William R. Wilson, R.R. 8 Muncie, died Saturday at Ball Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Muncie, the daughter of Louie and Juanita Roach Chesnut, attended Eugene field Elementary, Wilson Junior High School and graduated from Central High School in 1951. She also attended Ball State.
Mrs. Wilson, a supervisor at Industrial Trust and Savings Bank, had been employed at the bank the past nine years and parttime the past seventeen years. Earlier she was employed at I&M Electric Company.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of First Baptist Church, Junior Achievement Advisory Board, and American Institute of Banking.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Michael W. and Thomas P. Wilson, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Juanita Chesnut, also of Muncie; her brother, John D. Chesnut, Westfield; a niece and two nephews.
Services will be at Meeks Mortuary at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Dan Mattox, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and any time before the services Tuesday.
