Actor, Comedian. Born Harry Reynolds of African-American and American-Indian ancestry, he was a popular comedian and entertainer personality. Educated at Kansas State Teacher's College, he was a teacher for seven years in Cleveland, Ohio, when he moved to New York City and joined the Harlem Theater Group. As a member of the Harlem Theater, he toured with the music group the O’Jays, performing as a stand-up comedian, in Europe, Asia, Africa and made his big screen debut in “Young Doctors in Love” (1982). A veteran of over 50 films, his credits included “Harlem Nights,” (1989) “White Men Can’t Jump” (1992), “Friday” (1995), “For Da Love of Money” (2000), “Issue” (2005) and “First Sunday” (2008). For television in addition to being a co-host for BET’s stand-up show “Comic View”, he also appeared on “Sanford”, “The Wayans Bros”, “The Royal Family”, “227” and “The Bernie Mac Show”. He died from stroke complications at age 75.
