On Thursday, May 28th, 2015, our most cherished, Beverly Ransom of the Glen Daniel community passed away at the Bowers Hospice, following a very brief battle with cancer. She was 64 years of age.

The youngest of three children, Beverly Ann Egler was born on June 13th, 1950, at Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Pauline Dombrowski Egler. Beverly had two older brothers, Larry and Tommy.

Raised in a Catholic family, Beverly’s childhood was spent at Chardon, Ohio. She was a graduate of St. Michael Parochial High School in Independence, Ohio.

In the late 1960’s, Beverly met a Glen Daniel boy, Marion Ransom who had come to Cleveland to work. They were married on Jan. 31st, 1970. They returned to Glen Daniel in May of 1970. To their union was born two sons, Scott and James. Sadly, Scott died on Nov. 20th, 2006.

On Wednesday, June 3rd at 1 p.m. we will honor the life of Beverly Ransom with a “Service of Remembrance” at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Dewey Lowe will be officiating. Beverly will be entombed in the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at 12 noon.
