US Marine PFC James Preston Bordeaux was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, PFC Bordeaux served our country until September 9th, 1968 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was not married. It was reported that He was killed by hostile small arms fire. He was born in Norfolk,Virginia on June 27th 1947. His body was recovered. PFC Bordeaux is on panel 44W, line 061 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for more than 3 years.

He is the Son of Mr. James Preston Bordeaux of Norfolk and Verna Powell Boroody of Portsmouth, Virginia. Brother to Walter, John Curtis, Edna Byrum & Joyce Midgett

He was awarded The Combat Action Ribbon(CAR)The Purple Heart Medal his combat wounds, The National Defense Service Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Vietnam Campaign Medal and The Vietnamese Gallantry Cross Unit Citation.
