Stanley Guy Yeager, 88, of 306 North Walnut Street, East Palestine, Ohio, formerly of Waynesburg and Avon Park, Fla., died Monday, December 3, 1984, in Salem Community Hospital.

He was born April 19, 1896, in Blacksville, W. Va., a son of Dompedro A. and Eva Nora Zimmerman Yeager.

He served in the Army during World War I and was a farmer for 26 years in the East Palestine area, where he raised and sold produce. He retired in 1960.

Mr. Yeager was a member of the First Christian Church in Avon Park.

He married his first wife, Mary Alice Cosgray Yeager, on December 24, 1919. She died July 31, 1969.

Surviving are his second wife, Cathryn Morganegg Comeau Yeager, whom he married June 18, 1974; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Russell (Pearl) Bancroft of Aurora, Ohio; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Mrs. Patsy Graham, a brother, Edward Yeager, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Areford, are deceased.
