SOPHIE GROSSHUESCH

Mrs. Sophia Grosshuesch, wife of John Grosshuesch, died at the home of her son, William, in the town of Newton Sunday evening. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the home at 1:30 with services at 2 o’clock at the Newton Reformed church, the Rev. Funk officiating.

Mrs. Grosshuesch, who was Sophia Neuhaus before her marriage, was born in the town of Newton in 1854, and was married to John Grosshuesch forty-nine years ago.

She is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs. William Stupmges (sic), Mrs. Albert Neuhaus of this city, Miss Annie Grosshuesch of Milwaukee, William of Newton and Albert of Scotland, North Dakota. Two sisters, Mrs. John Schuette of Newton and Mrs. William Maurer of Ada, two brothers, Henry Neuhaus of Ada and Gerhardt Neuhaus of Ada, twenty-seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive her.
