Hoerz, Henry G., Jr. "Hank" Went home to the Lord on October 29, 2013, at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family. Born Henry G. Hoerz, Jr. to Flora and Henry G. Hoerz, Sr. in Sheboygan, WI. Henry was lovingly known as "Heinie" by his family and friends. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Charlotte "Charlie" E. Hoerz on July 29, 2013. Henry followed his father's footsteps and went to work for Wisconsin Bell and retired under AT&T. Also preceded in death by his brother, Richard and wife Nel Hoerz, brother-in-law Al Krause, brother-in-law Rowland and wife Ethel Kroos, brother-in-law Dick Koehn and brother-in-law Woody Kroos. Survived by his "seester" Ginny Koehn, brother James (Donna) Hoerz, brother David (Sherry) Hoerz, sister-in-law Harriet Krause, sister-in-law Betty Kroos and many other family and friends. Hank served his country proudly in WWII in the U.S. Navy in Hawaii. Hank was blessed and honored to participate in the Honor Flight of November 2012 with his son, Charles as his Guardian. He truly was a proud American. He was a good Christian man with great integrity and values that he raised his children with. Hank was a wonderful father to Sue (Ed) Dornbach, Charles (Jeanine) Hoerz, Wendi (Patrick) Connor, Douglas (fiance Tia) Hoerz, and Christine Sakellaris (fiance Rick). The family continued to grow and Hank became the proud grandfather of Kim (Hank) Hough, Shelly (Ken) Dretzka, Jarrod (Josie) Dornbach, Brandon Connor, Christopher (Marci) Hoerz, Nicholas (Deepa) Connor, Matthew (Amanda) Connor, Zach (Katy) Connor, Parker (Katie) Hoerz, Carson Hoerz, McCall Hoerz, Stephanie Sakellaris, Mathew Sakellaris, Jennifer Sakellaris and Hannah Sakellaris. The legacy continued with Hank's grandchildren furthering his blessings with great-grandchildren, Joshua and Cole Dretzka, Ethan, Emelia and Samantha Hough, Tyler and Benjamin Hoerz, Marcello and Luca Dornbach, Henry Hoerz, Bradley Sakellaris, Kiran Connor, and Jade Connor. The family would like to thank the Waukesha Memorial Hospital ICU staff for their compassion and loving care of our dear father in his final days. We also wish to thank the staff at Oak Hill Terrace Spring House for the care and understanding of dad in his journey living with dementia. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Greenfield Park Lutheran Church, located at, 1236 South 115th Street, West Allis, WI. Visitation 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with memorial service following. Private internment at Sheboygan Cemetery on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2013. Memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project or charity of your choice in Hank's name. GOD Bless America.
