Herndon - Services for Mrs Laura Jane Lusk 98 will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Williams - Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel at Sophia with the Rev. Dewey Wilson Officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park at Princeton.

Mrs Lusk died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Heartland of Beckley, where she had been a patient for 2 1/2 years.

She was amember of the Covel Missionary Baptist Church.

Born Aug. 5, 1875 at Dott she was a daughter of Riley and Olive Shrewsbury.

Her husband of Wiley Lusk and three children preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son Oldie Lusk of Chesapeake, Va., three daughters Mrs Vercie Hull of Chesapeake, Va., Mrs Milia Payne of Coal City and Mrs Minnie Hughes of Sophia, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great - great - grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
