Timothy Allen Prather Sr., 61, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, in a local hospital. He was a loving and devoted husband who loved the Lord and his church.
He was born in DeRidder and worked in construction for most of his life. He was a member of Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles for many years.
Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Linda Conner Prather of Iowa; two sons and daughter-in-law; father, Garland Prather of DeRidder; two brothers; one sister of Littlefield, Texas; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Prather; daughter, Tammy Jordan; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Mikey and Larry Prather.
His funeral was Thursday, Dec. 23, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Evers officiated. Burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery in Iowa.
