B-24H Liberator #42-94775 "War Eagle" crashed at RAF Oulton, Norfolk, England, when diverted due to bad weather, when the bomber struck a tree on landing.

Six crew members were killed:

SSgt. Garrett C Parnell, Jr
Sgt. Leslie C Cazzell

His wife Lucile (Coe) survives him.
