Actor. He studied at Portsmouth Municipal College before winning a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and made his professional stage debut in 'The Winter's Tale' at London's Regent's Park in 1944. He made his television debut on BBC-TV's 'Fly Away Peter' in 1948 and went on to appear in other TV shows such as 'The Saint', 'The Sweeney', 'Oliver Twist', 'The Prisoner', 'The Avengers', 'Ivanhoe', 'City Beneath the Sea', 'The Moonstone', 'The Molly Wopsies' and 'Ripping Yarns'. Among American TV shows he had roles on were 'Murder, She Wrote', 'Alien Nation', 'Tales from the Crypt' and 'Deadwood'. On film, he had several memorable scenes in such films as 'The Great St. Trinian's Train Robbery' (1966), 'A Clockwork Orange' (1971), 'The Wicker Man' (1973), 'Lisztomania' (1975), 'Oxford Blues' (1984), 'My Girl 2' (1994), 'Legend of the Mummy' (1998) and 'Necessary Evil' (2008). Morris, whose last TV appearance was on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' in 2015, died of causes related to old age.
