Barbara "Ottis" Monk Walker, 92, of Tifton passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Tift Avenue Church of God with the Rev. Murray Hand officiating. Mrs. Walker will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Tift Avenue Church of God from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.

Bobby Brannen, Don Whitaker, Jerry Walters and Rick Brown will serve as pallbearers.

Born July 30, 1929, in Thomaston, Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late John Bethel Monk and Lena Irene Miller Monk. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Sheriff Edd Walker; two daughters, Linda and Kathy L. Walker; one sister, Winona Barber; one brother, Delmas L. Monk; and one great-grandson, Preston T. Kaiser. She was a homemaker and a member of Tift Avenue Church of God. She enjoyed her membership in the Tifton Garden Club.

Mrs. Walker is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Mary Walker of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and Steve Parker of Sylvester; one sister, Johnnie Cloud of North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Glen Walker of Tifton; her grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Teresa Walker, Lindsey and Dr. Bill Kaiser, Bart and Jessica Walker, Stephen Jr. and Meghan Parker; and her great-grandchildren, Marianne Walker, Raylee Walker, Chancey Sanders, Riley Walker, Will Kaiser, Katie Kaiser, Lillian Kaiser, Walker Kaiser and Pepper Parker.

The family would like to thank Dr. Brent Savelli for his excellent care of Mrs. Walker.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to the Georgia Sheriff's Boy's Ranch, 5671 Georgia 122, Hahira, GA 31632.
